Room facilities excellent and we could set our table in front of the window looking out on the street to have our breakfast, The room information told us where the local shops where and it was great to be able to stroll down the street to buy fresh bread from an artisan baker. The local supermarket had a wide selection of cheeses which was also appreciated. The receptionis welcomed us warmly and also booked our shuttle for the airport which let us relax for our 3 day stay.
This place seems to have been underrated by previous reviewers. It was very clean, everything worked, we had no trouble with the pleasant staff. Our room was definitely modern with appropriate furnishings, and the beds were comfortable. It is located in a nice neighborhood area with access to supermarkets, restaurants, and of course the metro only around the corner. It was quiet in the evenings too. A good place to stay for a small family.
Some of the information about room features, rules, etc. is not made obvious. Where do you empty the rubbish? How does the cooker or dishwasher work? If there is a cleaning service, when can it be expected? This kind of thing could easily be put in a manual in the room.
Efficiency and availability of the staff at the reception desk.
Breakfast buffet (continental style) too limited for the price charged (10 euros pp).
Well equiped clean and comfortable apartment Very quite but near to metro and good location
room was not clean , seem very old and un cared for , disappointing , worst citadine i have ever stayed in .
Citadines offer spacious accomodation, something rare in Paris! We had a lounge with a dining table, a full kitchen, toilet separate from the bathroom - in other words loads of space. This enabled us to save lots of money by having some meals in our room with fresh food bought from nearby supermarkets.
Good location, very close to metro station lots of good local restaurants. Handy supermarket and excellent bakery a short walk across the road
The location was ideal - just far enough away from the tourist spots but easily reached via line 1 of the metro a 2 minute walk away. A supermarket opposite for our supplies for the week. An excellant boulangerie for daily bread on the same street and plenty of bistros on the street and also Rue Diderot. We could walk to the Bastille and one evening we walked back from Notre Dame. Safe comfortable neighbourhood to walk through. From the Gare de Lyon it was a straight line 10 minute walk easily done or you could nip one stop to the metro. The hotel staff spoke excellent english and were more than helpful. The room had everything we needed. A studio is adequate for a couple, well equipped kitchen with toaster microwave hob dishwasher and cooking utensils. The kitchen toilet and wardrobes were seperate to the bedroom which was large and airy with a fabulous very firm bed, tv and table and chairs. The decor was clean and the duvets pillow and sheets brand new. Lovely hot baths everyday after our walks and a decent shower and sink. All in all we had a fabulous relaxing and stay and wouldnt hesitate in re-booking. Next time we may drive and parking is available at 20 euros per day.
Nothing really other than the fact that on our first night we had a room on the first floor at the front of the hotel which was very warm without the heating on. We opened the windows during the night and there was a lot of early morning traffic noise. We asked to be moved to the top floor at the back of the building which was much cooler and quieter. Not a problem for the staff.
Excellent hotel, clean, good beds, quiet; excellent service; many stores nearby for shopping for food for the kitchenette. Reasonable price for shuttle back to CDG. Subway entrance just 1 minute from hotel, line 1 for the metro which goes to most tourist sites. Phone House, bank, and post office just three minutes away. Gare de Lyon bus to CDG is a 10 minute walk. Wifi access in room.
One leaky faucet in kitchen, but just a minor problem.
Good location - quiet yet within walking distance to the center of Paris. Convenient metro access.
The Staff;the location (although further from Gare De Lyon than indicated on the publicity)the apartment concept - We really felt like it was our own apartment. The whole ambiance of the place.
There was no remote for the television.
+ location (supermarket across the street, metro around the corner) + nice balcony + close to McDonalds!
- no toiletries this time. Inconsistency in service. In July they provided toiletries. The living room we got in July was bigger than the one we got this time. Kitchen was small. - only wired internet (which was good), but wireless should be provided.
My stay runs over 10 days - during April 2012 - Excellent location near Metro line 1 and 8 from - one level away from all connections Gare de Lyon = easy to reach all around Paris - Hotel staff are kind and gentle - Daily rate is about Euro 130 which is expensive = in complement breakfast (expensive for quality Euro 12) as well as room maintenance a min. of Euro 8 a day.....In fact all this should be comprised in the hotel rate. Also most of the current TV programs are payable = which is unacceptable. All other issues = perfect.
Excellent location and quiet environment
A well-equipped roomy apartment in a very "local" (non-touristy) area of Paris, close to Metro. As a couple, we paid a bit extra for a 4-person apartment and the extra space was well worth it. Relatively quiet area, close to Bastille and easy to get everywhere. Nice local restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and would strongly recommend to others.
Lack of air conditioning would make this too hot for a summer stay, as leaving windows open would allow too much noise. Laundry facilities available on site, but did not work properly. Staff were good about this, however, and refunded our laundry money.
Close to a metro station and convenient for a day trip to Disneyland. A variety of restaurants are within walking distance. The appartment room we stayed is spacious and suitable for a week or more stay.
Nothing to do with the hotel but metro in Paris is not friendly to families with small children...
